Their price is lower than that of calcium-calcium batteries. They can leak liquid, which is a problem. Therefore, it requires regular upkeep and checks. They are also easily hurt by a jolt of electricity.


Any RV, golf cart, or electric vehicle owner is likely familiar with the term “deep cycle battery” (EV). That they can hold a lot of stuff is one of their selling points. They have a long useful life, to put it another way. These batteries can also be used to store solar energy. This is a primary reason why they are so costly.
